I can not begin to describe what it felt like to be in the desert. So I will show you some images. Wks ago I was rock climbing in the Pisgah National Forest, and now I am in Southern California in the desert. Even stranger, I've spent the last 2 weeks in Los Angeles. Here' s the desert:
